WiseUp!America! is interested in creating Chapter Exchange
Meetings with other, WiseUp! chapters, women’s groups
or community groups around the United States. If you would
like to be involved with this process, let
us know. You can
participate in many other ways, too. Contribute ideas for
future events, recommend a book or an author for author’s
night, submit a community story to the website or encourage
an elected representative to keep us informed. To learn more
or suggest ideas, please contact us.
We seek ways to get together, exchange ideas and learn from
one another, decide on an individual course of action.
- We sponsor Author’s Nights;
- We put together Panels on the effect that national budget
funding and policy decisions have on specific programs
within the community;
- We collect personal and agency stories, organize and
disseminate them;
- We meet with elected representatives to gather information;
- We speak with women’s groups and community groups.
Help us think of new ways to provide information to encourage
participation; meet with your friends and neighbors and groups
across the country.
