WiseUp!America promotes the participation
of women in the issues that most influence their lives,
their families and communities: decisions about educational
or economic programs, consumer protection, housing, health
care, social security and public safety; and well as
individual rights and civil liberties. We, women, are
an essential force in protecting our families and communities
and in determining what is in our best interest.

WiseUp!America is women united to serve,
assist and encourage others in our communities to engage
in meaningful participation in decisions that affect
the quality of life. WiseUp!America was created to provide
sources of information to help us take more meaningful
steps to improve our lives.

WiseUp!America started in Brooklyn, New
York, but our message is for everyone, everywhere in
this nation. It is in the interests of our families and
communities to know the effects of national policies
and decisions on our local programs and services.
